St John Ambulance is the UK’s leading First Aid organisation. Our volunteers give thousands of hours each year providing First Aid and Ambulance cover at major and minor events (including the Special Olympics and the Belfast Marathon) ensuring that the public are safe. St John Ambulance is also the UK’s leading First Aid training provider and the third largest youth organisation in the UK.
St John Ambulance volunteers in Northern Ireland play a huge role in meeting the needs of the province.
We provide:
- First Aid and Ambulance cover
- A&E ambulance support when the statutory services are stretched
- Patient transfers to and from medical establishments
- Nursing and Social care
- Youth activities
There are over 1,000 St John Ambulance members in Northern Ireland and we hope that you can become part of our team.
We meet every Monday night in Jennymount Methodist Complex from 6:30 to 9:30 pm and are currently recruiting for new members: 11 - 15 yr olds meet from 6:30 to 8:00 pm and 16 plus meet from 8:00 to 9:30 pm.
