“The advancement of Christ’s kingdom among Boys and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Reverence, Discipline, Self-respect and all that tends towards a true Christian manliness.”
The Boys’ Brigade (BB) is a Christian Youth Organisation, with over half a million members world-wide. The BB offers a wide range of activities including Games, Crafts, Sports, Christian Teaching, Music and Holidays. If you are interested in these types of activities you would be very welcome to come along on Thursday nights!
- Anchor Boys - Age 5 (before 31st October) – 8 meet from 6:00-7:15pm
- Junior Section - Age 8 – 11 meet from 6:00-7:15pm
- Company Section - Age 11 + meet from 7:00-9:30pm
Principles
The Boys’ Brigade acknowledges Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord according to the Scriptures and seeks to fulfil its aim to the Glory of One God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Boys’ Brigade witnesses to the standard set by Jesus Christ and gives positive teaching on the Christian attitude to life.
The Boys’ Brigade promotes a just society where all people are equally valued.
BB Badge
All over the world, Boys’ Brigade members wear the same badge. In the centre a Cross, the symbol of Christ and His Church.
